Over the summer I gave a lot of thought as to how I want to continue my studies, and realised that thinking is pretty much all I did. With lack of motivation being a massive factor, I started questioning whether I wanted to become a visual communicator, the answer being yes, definitely.
My first action point is to plug all my energy into everything I do from now on, this counts now, no more second chances or lazy days.
I feel I still hold a special place for graphic design, having studied it for two years at college, and it doesn’t always have to be boring corporate stuff, it’s such a wide spectrum and I feel like I need to really get saturated in this area, while not losing sight of other areas I am interested in, such as printmaking, which I am carrying on with my elective.
I want level 5 visual communications to be a gritty year with lots of home truths and lots of answers. I refuse to spend another year not feeling any surer about my area of practice.

Here are some animals i made out of rotten wood and rusty metal for a website i’m making.
save www.deathisconstant.com to your bookmarks, the site goes live the end of next week.

masking tape used to create an ad for gig’s in leeds. they would be taped to walls near venues in towns. they are easily removable and very cheap.

just some sketchy collage i made, sorry there hasnt been much work lately, i havent been that enthused over the holidays! i have a website based on climate change to do, so there should be bits of that up over the coming weeks, and i’ve got a commission rebranding a gym so there should be some more corporate graphicy work up.
Hope you all enjoyed the winter break.
